Important Dates

The cut off date for the final round of funding is 9am Monday 9 March 2026. Any applications after this time will not be accepted. Application will be accepted for properties within the City of Melbourne and the City of Casey only.

 Please be advised that there is a firm 12 month completion timeline on this round of applications from the state of grant notification and no extensions will be approved. Applicants must be willing to take all reasonable steps to complete the works within 12 months, and understand that the works are not complete in that time frame, the grant funds will not be released.

Eligibility

Each local council’s Heritage Restoration Fund have their own eligibility criteria but all applications must include a property within a Heritage Overlay, works visible from the public realm that enhance the significance and appearance of the building, must relate to conservation and restoration works, and have an associated permit or exemption from council

Applications will be received for the participating Heritage Restoration Funds in Melbourne and Casey .
